The 8th graders just finished reading "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde". They are now going to try writing their own short Gothic story based on the main criteria that makes up a Gothic novel.

First grade had fun using nonstandard measurement to compare the lengths of their names with their classmates. We practiced using the phrases "shorter than" and "longer than" during this activity!
