Prek-3 enjoyed having a few books read to them by their fifth grade guardian angels while at the book fair.
Helping Hands!! The fifth grade guardian angels helped Prek-3 preview books and write a wish list of items to send home to Mom & Dad.
2nd grade had a great field trip to the Historic Arkansas Museum!
First grade completed a pumpkin observation! We made predictions on the length, width, weight, and total number of seeds. We discovered the best way to count the seeds was to make groups of tens!
PreK3 enjoyed the vist from the fire truck and fire house. They learned how to crawl out of a room filled with smoke and about stop, drop and roll.

2nd grade has sent Flat Stanley on adventures all over the world. We received lots of pictures and notes about his travels. We are tracking where he has been on our map.
7th grade has been studying plants. Friday we set up our photosynthesis lab. Today we began our seed germination lab
6th grade is working on understanding Mesopotamian trading culture by conducting an experiment involving record keeping in cuneiform on clay tablets.
The 8th graders are beginning to look at historical connections to their novel "To Kill a Mockingbird" to help them better understand the racial tension that Harper Lee writes about.
Kindergarten had such a wonderful time at BoBrook Farm last week. We got to jump into a corn pit, walk through a maze, slide down a big slide, and picked pumpkins out.
