Today the 2nd grade got to visit the Nature Center and create nature journals. After lunch they headed to Hurts Donuts to create their descriptive donut writings in person. Yum!

Second grade had a visit from Little Love's Rabbit Rescue and Education. They learned more about rabbits and were able to pet a few bunnies. Then they made some special treats that will be given to the rescue rabbits!

We partnered with the North Little Rock Animal Shelter for a writing project. Second graders wrote persuasive writings on why you should adopt these sweet dogs.
Their writings are currently hanging on the dog's kennels. 🐶
These dogs, and many others, are waiting for a family at the NLR Animal Shelter.
Pi Day at IHM.
Kindergarten is getting ready for the Multicultural Festival. They will represent Mexico.
3rd grade visited The Arkansas Heritage Museum today. They have been studying the rich history of The Natural State. Now they know how hard it was to churn butter by hand!
