We partnered with the North Little Rock Animal Shelter for a writing project. Second graders wrote persuasive writings on why you should adopt these sweet dogs.
Their writings are currently hanging on the dog's kennels. 🐶
These dogs, and many others, are waiting for a family at the NLR Animal Shelter.

Kindergarten is getting ready for the Multicultural Festival. They will represent Mexico.




3rd grade visited The Arkansas Heritage Museum today. They have been studying the rich history of The Natural State. Now they know how hard it was to churn butter by hand!









Look what wiggled right into our classroom!
First grade completed a worm lab where they researched facts about earth worms, made observations, and measured them! 📝🪱🤓

Our ❄️brrright❄️ first graders did a fantastic job with their Arctic animal habitat project! Did you know that..?
🐻❄️: A polar bear's paw is the size of a dinner plate!
🦭: Harp seals have really good eyesight!
🐇: Arctic hares have black tips on their ears that take in heat from the sun!

Second grade did a book study of Judy Blume's Freckle Juice. Then, we created, measured, and mixed our own recipe for freckle juice!




First grade leaped🐸 into a new month by creating their own class calendar🗓️!
